Great product, better brand

During the 4th of July sale I purchased a bag each of Apple Pie, Banana Bread, Birthday Cake and Cinnamon Cereal. Overall taste wise i’d give them a 4/10, 6/10, 9/10 and 9/10. The latter two flavors are incredible and does not taste particularly “artificial” at all. They will remain staples in my protein powder rotation for the foreseeable future👍
As for the Apple Pie and Banana I have to say I was a definitely disappointed. I find they both have a certain sour and almost pungent taste that overpowers the actual flavors of the fruit and make the shakes a bit difficult to put down. I do like mixing some cinnamon into my banana shakes and have found it makes it offsets this sour flavor but I won’t getting this flavor again. As for the apple I honestly can’t say I’ll be able to finish the bag. It was solid in my protein ice cream however, I did mix in some unsweetened apple pie filling which certainly elevated the flavor. In a shake on its own I find the pungency almost impossible to put down, but I am a bit sensitive to certain flavor profiles like that.
The rest of this review is more geared towards the brand and quality of life offerings.
While I haven’t had to deal with them myself their policy and reviews, especially regarding refunds, seems top notch. Truly a rare breed among the hyper competitive and profit driven brands of today that cut corners and let quality take a back seat to efficiency. Feeling heard as a customer is truly such a great feeling when it comes to a brand that handles your nutritional needs.
I have seen other reviews mention this and have to agree, the packaging of the 2LBS bags are certainly a weak point, namely the seals.
Overall I am very happy that I found Legion and as I continue to try more flavors would not be surprised if they become my sole source of protein powder and eventually maybe supplements. The slightly higher price is more than offset by the phenomenal ingredients, good macros, lactose free protein and the more ethical and clean sourcing of products.
If I had any other suggestions I would love to see single serving packages/variety sample packs added in the future or at the very least 1LBS bags. I find the quality absolutely justifies the price charged but spending $50-60 on 2 pounds of protein that you aren’t sure you are going to like can be very frustrating.
It's just OK

I ordered two of the unflavored whey proteins. I think I had hyped them up in my head because I had heard so many great things about Legion, but I'd say they're fine but nothing that's blown my mind.
The good: It really is unflavored, which is great because I tend to find flavored protein powders to be too sweet for my liking so I've been using the unflavored protein to "water down" the flavor of the protein powders that I already own to make them a bit more palatable.
The so-so: I found that they don't dissolve very well, or at least not as well as some of my other protein powders. I've tried to dissolve them in my coffee by first shaking up the whey with the milk and adding it in, but it always ends up clumping up or otherwise being a bit gooey. Which is fine, but I guess I was disappointed because that was one of the key use cases I had hoped to be able to use this protein powder for, but it hasn't quite shaked out how I had hoped. Also, it's unflavored, but it definitely has a bit of an aftertaste so it's not like collagen or creatine powder where it becomes undetectable after you mix it in.
Really minor thing, but the powder gets all clogged up in the zip top of the bag and so it was really annoying to try to get it to close. If you take a toothpick and run it through the bag closure though, it gets the powder out so you're able to close it all the way.
Overall, I'll probably still finish using up the protein that I purchased, but I think next time I might try the flavored protein instead.
All Time Favorite Whey Protein Powder

Legion's Whey+ Natural Whey Protein Powder is my all-time favorite. I look forward to drinking this mixed with fairlife milk every morning after my morning workout. I even say no to breakfast burritos at work because I would prefer to have this protein drink in the morning because it is that good! I have had 10 flavors so far and here is my review from my favorite to least favorite (side note: I have mixed all of these with fairlife milk, almond milk, and water):
1. Pumpkin Pie (tastes like Thanksgiving and warms the soul)
2. Fruity Cereal (tastes like Trix cereal and reminds me of breakfast before school in the morning in the 90s)
3. Cinnamon Cereal (tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and reminds me of late night snacks in college)
4. Banana Bread (tastes exactly like banana bread and satisfies that craving of wanting to eat a whole loaf of banana bread)
5. Apple Pie (tastes like Apple pie and satisfies the craving of wanting to eat a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream)
6. Mocha Cappuccino (tastes like coffee, and found myself not drinking or needing coffee on the days I drank this. This flavor I alternated with other flavors)
7. Honey Cereal, Birthday Cake, and Cookies & Cream (all tie for last. Flavor did not pop for me. Added PB Fit to these so there was more flavor. Boring compared to the other flavors)
Can't wait to try more and so happy with Legion!

The Recharge: absolutely love that they combine Creatine with L-carnatine and add a flavor-perfect for postworkout. I love sour candy so tried that flavor initially and wasn’t a fan because I think it tastes more like sweet-tart SWEET candies to me-which I hate of course. The article Blast flavor though…OMG-so good! It’s a little hard to even describe, but almost a mix between a Blue Raspberry and Baja flavor.
The Pulse Pre-workout:
Love the sour apple flavor, and I did get some energy from it, but I was personally looking for more of a strength and/or pump for my lifts(which I don’t seem to get from Pulse). I reach out to Legion support team and they suggested getting the Pump Surge and mixing with the Pulse to get my desired results and it seems to be doing the trick! -Although I’ve only tried that mix together once so far.
The Whey protein:
Very happy with the ingredients list-a good Clean protein is hard to find these days! The Caramel flavor is great and very versatile(I use it in shakes, plain greek yogurt, oatmeal) all of which it goes great with! I do like to bake things(protein bars, protein greek yogurt berry bake, etc.) and learning that more moisture base is needed with this protein powder, so I’ll likely continue to play around with that. Just ordered to more protein flavors to try and can’t wait!
