Camp-let Trailer Tents: Turning Camping into Glamping

Camp-let provide a range of different size tents which fold into the compact trailer they are attached to. The trailers are small and lightweight, manufactured of light, galvanised steel or aluminium, with a single axle, towing ball, and locking top. When parked on site, the tent can be quickly unfolded and pegged out. Beds are also attached to the trailer, and either slide or fold out to provide an off-the-floor sleeping area. • Trailer tents are often allowed on campsites where caravans are barred.
• Trailer tents are much easier to erect than a standard tent of similar size.
• Depending on the model, sleeping beds and often living space is raised off the ground.
• Trailer tents are easy to tow, and can be unhitched and manoeuvred by one person.

One of the big problems for many caravanners is where they can store their caravan when not on the road. For most, parking on a driveway or on the road isn’t an option, which means secure storage and additional costs. A trailer tent can be easily manoeuvred by hand and parked in a front or rear garden, (don’t forget the wheel clamps). For greater security, it can also be stored upright or on its side against a garage wall.
